Seventy thousand attendees. More than 170 countries. And a startup from Rome that is less than a year old. IUMI Technologies has been selected for Web Summit 2026, the world's largest technology conference, which runs from 9 to 12 November in Lisbon.
"Yes, we'll be there."
IUMI Technologies, announcing the selection
The company is going with Aven, its personal AI network, still in development. In Lisbon it will be shown to investors, media and some of the most influential people in the industry, arriving from every corner of the planet.
For a team founded in 2025, the selection is a milestone. The founders read it as something else too. "Not just a milestone, but a confirmation," they wrote when they shared the news. The value IUMI is building, from ethOS for the security of AI agents in banks and fintech to Aven for bringing people back together, holds up on a global stage of this size. "And we're finding that out while we build it."
"A role we feel as a responsibility, before a privilege."
On representing Italy in Lisbon
At Web Summit, IUMI will represent Italy within the Italian collective organized by ICE, the Italian Trade Agency, alongside other companies chosen to show what the country is building in technology.
Direct links to IUMI's pages on the official Web Summit portals will be shared in the coming weeks. Anyone in Lisbon in November is invited to get in touch: the team will be there.
